Sugars #48

Sweet, Sweet Sugar...hmmmmmmmmmmmm!?
It looks better on paper than in Us!
Why?
Mini-Chocolate Truffles
Because we eat too much of it, have too much of it in our diets, and we ae becoming obese because of it!
The above picture is of my Mini's Chocolate Cakes. (15 calories each)
They are a small bite of Orgasmic Delight!
Very Low in sugar, Low in calories, and full of dark chocolate flavor!

My secret, using Greek Yogurt for 1/2 of the sugar the recipe called for instead.
This cuts down on the sugar overload taste for us and the recipe.
Of course you need to keep balance in the recipes with wet ingredients but that is what I do for a living, so it works.
For you I suggest elimanating (1) egg of recipe and cut back on other liquids such as oils, or waters.
Once you have played with it once and make a sample batch and taste one then you can always add more of something, but cannot back it out!

So let's look next at what types of sugars are really good for us in moderation.
  • Brown Cane sugar
  • Turbinado (Hawaiian sugar)
  • White
  • Honeys
  • Fruit sugars
These are all of our Natural choices, and should not be confused with Artificial Sweeteners.
Nor should we use Artificial sweeteners in excess in our diets as the word says it Best,, Artificial.

If all of this sounds overwhelming, or confusing, it shouldn't be, but if you need more help understanding the Do's & Don'ts of this please feel free to sign up for one of my Nutrition Classes @ 612-859-3270
In my classes I explain all of this and more, and you get Free Samples and Free Recipes for your very own.
I hope to hear from all of you soon.
